Fashion Statement

I had heard before coming here that clothes shopping in Wellington leaves a little something to be desired, that if you want to buy clothes you are better off hopping a plane to Auckland, or better yet, Sydney. When I heard that, I thought, "Oh, come on now... how bad could it be??"

Pretty bad.

Here are a few shots of mannequins that grace the floors of some of the clothing stores here in Wellington.




Here's a sundress covered with little red cherries coupled with some sexy cropped black lace leggings.















Here's a slouchy argyle vest atop a battleship grey peasant skirt. A little something for Wellington's Transvestite Golf Club.














This one... wow. I think the shirt says it all.
